Native Peoples Action Partnerships

Alaska Climate Alliance: The Alaska Climate Alliance works to align Alaska’s climate action community with Just Transition principles to address the climate crisis head-on at all levels of society, shifting our state towards a joyful, interdependent and indigenous-led future.

Alaska Just Transition Collective: The Alaska Just Transition Collective builds a shared visionary path for Alaska by addressing the growing political, economic, and ecological crises we face. The goals of this community are to inspire and catalyze action, connect and elevate partnerships, amplify the immediate needs of our communities, and create shared language across sectors.

Alaska Native Justice Center (ANJC): The Alaska Native Justice Center promotes justice through culturally based advocacy, prevention and intervention services to restore dignity, respect and. humanity to all Alaska Native people. 

Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center (AKNWRC): The Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center is dedicated to strengthening local, tribal government’s responses through community organizing efforts advocating for the safety of women and children in their communities and homes, especially against domestic and sexual abuse and violence. 

Data for Indigenous Justice: Reclaiming data of missing and murdered Indigenous womxn, girls and relatives. 

First Alaskans Institute: First Alaskans Institute works to advance Alaska Natives through community engagement, information and research, collaboration and leadership development. 

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Womxn, Girls, 2 Spirit + Working Group: Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Alaska Native Justice Center, Native Peoples Action, Native Movement, and Data for Indigenous Justice understand that the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit persons is a complex issue but action is needed now. We address this from a healing perspective with our community. We collectively demand justice on all fronts on a state, local and federal level. 

Native Movement: Native Movement is dedicated to building people power, rooted in an Indigenized worldview, toward healthy, sustainable and just communities for all. 

Tlingit & Haida Central Council: The Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (Tlingit & Haida) is a tribal government representing over 33,000 Tlingit and Haida Indians worldwide. They are a sovereign entity and have a government to government relationship with the United States.
